It was a beautiful Saturday in the Bay Area so Amelia and I decided to take the kids to their favorite park, Coyote Point. Everyone had a great time with perhaps the exception of Helen who gave a wooden rocking horse a headbutt. Fortunately, Dad was there to catch it all on video.

Happy Birthday Stella! Hard to believe you're 29 (again). Congratulations.

We took Jake and Helen to a much deserved trip to the San Francisco Zoo this weekend. Both kids (Jake in particular) earned stickers for good behavior and doing chores around the house for the past couple of weeks. As promised, when the sticker board was filled up, we went to the zoo to ride the merry-go-round and Little Puffer steam train. Of course, we also saw some animals but that paled in comparison to the rides.

Below is some video from our excursion...although it is quite challenging to take video and watch a child while moving around in a circle.
